Celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month
At Palo Alto University (PAU), we observe National Hispanic Heritage Month by celebrating the vibrant cultures, rich histories, and profound contributions of the Hispanic and Latinx communities. We honor the unique perspectives, lived experiences, and voices that have deeply influenced our university and the field of mental health.
This page showcases influential Hispanic and Latinx figures, stories of strength, and pivotal work that has advanced culturally-responsive and equitable practices in psychology, counseling, and social work. Their relentless commitment to service, scholarship, and advocacy motivates us all. We are dedicated to elevating Hispanic and Latinx representation and nurturing inclusive environments where these communities can flourish.
Palo Alto University works from the belief that inclusion is required for individuals and institutions to achieve their greatest potential.
