Jerrod Brown, PhD, presents a live professional training program on Behavioral Health Aspects of Sleep Apnea.
Sleep apnea is a common and multisystemic sleep disorder impacting many clients receiving services from behavioral health providers. Designed for professionals, this training introduces attendees to the causes, consequences, and red flag indicators of sleep apnea among behavioral health populations. Screening and intervention considerations will also be discussed through a behavioral health lens.
The impact sleep apnea has on mood, behavior, cognition, physical health, and criminality will also be discussed. Empirically based research findings will be highlighted throughout this training.
