Kara's 19th Annual Walk'n'Run to Remember is a profoundly meaningful gathering where individuals come together to celebrate the lives of those we've lost, extend support to those who grieve, and rally behind Kara's invaluable bereavement support services for the Bay Area community. This event offers a unique opportunity to honor the memory of your loved ones and stand with friends and family navigating the journey of grief.
Palo Alto University and the Early Intervention Clinic proudly support Kara's vital mission as a testament to the power of collaboration. Our community unites to amplify the impact of this essential work. - NEW this year! Both Walk and Run are 5k routes.

Schedule of Events
- 9:00 AM – Onsite Registration Opens (for those who haven't registered online)
- 10:00 AM – 5k Walk and Run Begin
- 11:00 AM – Festival Activities Begin:
- Taco Bar with a variety of food options
- Live Music performances
- Memory Garden for reflection and honoring loved ones
- Comfort Canines for emotional support
- Kids' Carnival Games with fun prizes
- Mental Health Information Booths featuring local nonprofits
- Raffles and Prizes for top fundraiser teams
- 12:30 PM – Event Concludes
Registration Information (PAU Students and Employees are FREE)
- Online Registration Deadline: October 17, 2024
- Day-of Registration: Available onsite starting at 9:00 AM at Mitchell Park.
Registration Fees:
- Adults: $40
- Students (18 and under): $20
- Children (12 and under): Free
All registered participants will receive an event t-shirt. To guarantee your shirt size, please register by October 1st.
