50 Years At the Forefront of Behavioral Health: PAU’s 2025-2026 Anniversary Celebration

Celebrating 50 Years

For the last half-century, PAU has shown extraordinary leadership in envisioning and defining the forefront of behavioral health. As we prepare for our landmark 50th Anniversary Celebration, we invite you, our donors, to join us in recognizing the tremendous impact of our singular and powerful institution — and to boldly envision the future of leadership and innovation in behavioral health. There are many ways you can participate in and support this exciting milestone.

Leading the Future of Mental Health: An Invitation

Broadly, the need for behavioral health services is more acute than ever, with more Americans experiencing mental illness and seeking services, and increased attention to the importance of mental health in the workplace. The amplified need for services is hindered not only by inequitable access to behavioral health care, but by significant workforce shortages within the sector.

These gaps have made it critical to invest in the institutions and resources that prepare our behavioral health workforce and work to improve community access to critical services. At the same time, technology and new innovations within behavioral health demand attention, creativity, and collaborative efforts in order for us to advance shared goals.

For five decades, PAU has worked to solve these broader social challenges by preparing exceptional providers, advancing visionary research, and investing in clinical outreach and provider preparation focused on under-resourced communities. Look out for more information in the coming months!

We would love to discuss your partnership and support for this exciting moment in PAU’s history.
