Alumni Engagement Council
Palo Alto University's Alumni Engagement Council exists to serve as a liaison for, and to, the PAU alumni community. This Council holds an important role in offering guidance to the university regarding its alumni engagement efforts, including programming, communications, and benefits. The member nomination process is currently open for our inaugural Council membership.
In alignment with the university’s mission, vision, and values, the Council membership aims for an inclusive membership across a spectrum of individual and professional identities. Members must be alumni from a degree-granting program of Palo Alto University of Pacific Graduate School of Psychology who are willing to participate in meetings and engagement activities, such as attending and/or hosting programming, and assist in efforts to increase attendance and overall engagement.
We hope you will take the time to nominate alumni, including yourself, who are committed to seeing the university and its communities thrive. For more information about the Alumni Engagement Council, please visit the Charter.

Reconnect with PAU: Opportunities to Give Back and Get Involved
Giving back is a wonderful way to reconnect with the PAU community. The university is grateful for any support you can provide, whether it's organizing an event, mentoring students, participating on an alumni panel, or making a donation.
- Mentor a PAU Student: The PAU Mentor program offers a structured opportunity for alumni to connect with current undergraduate and graduate students. Provide guidance, share your experiences, and help shape the next generation of professionals.
- Stay Connected: Remain involved with your alma mater by mentoring students, offering internships, or serving as a guest speaker. Email our Director of Alumni Relations to learn more about these opportunities.
- Offer Internships or Job Shadow Days: Allow students to work as interns or shadow you for a day, helping them understand the skills and responsibilities required for specific roles and career paths.
- Participate as an Alumni Panelist or Speaker: Share insights about your profession, answer students' questions in an interactive setting, and discuss how your PAU experience influenced your career journey.
- Host or Organize Alumni Events: Hosting or organizing events like mixers or reunions is a perfect way to reconnect with your PAU community and network with fellow alumni.
- Support Your Alma Mater: As a non-profit university, every donation to PAU directly supports our students through scholarships and fellowships, community outreach programs, research initiatives, and faculty projects that benefit mental health locally and globally.
