"Learning from some of the top practitioners in our field while also gaining a solid foundation in evidence-based treatments has been invaluable. To have the ability to critically consume and evaluate research and then use this to develop programs/curriculum has afforded me quite a significant amount of versatility career-wise."

Where are you living currently?
I live in San Francisco, CA.
What is your current job?
It’s a great feeling to finish a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology! Surprisingly, the past five years have gone by so fast. Right now, I only feel gratitude for the many clinical experiences I have received. While academics have prepared me to work in this field, my clients have taught me so much more about life. I learned a great deal about severe mental illness while working at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Patients with severe mental illness have many challenges, and I was often amazed at how quickly they could recover.

This clinical psychologist doesn’t just talk the talk, she has walked the walk her entire life, and inspired countless others to do the same.
