Counseling Department
Mission:
The Counseling Department is a diverse and dynamic community dedicated to the development of highly effective clinical mental health counselors, future leaders, counselor educators, supervisors, and innovators in the counseling profession.
Student Success
The Department of Student Success serves the non-academic needs of Palo Alto University students from the time of enrollment at PAU through graduation. Student Success provides opportunities for student involvement, including student activities and student government as well as assisting international students, veteran students, and students who request special accommodations. Student Success team members look forward to welcoming new students at orientation.

PhD Clinical Training
PhD Clinical Training Faculty provide mentoring and clinical placement services to the PhD Clinical Psychology program students.
During the PhD program, students are required to complete clinical practicum training and a capstone 2,000-hr internship. To support the success of the PhD students, PhD Clinical Training Faculty provide:
Office of Academic Affairs (OAA)
The Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) coordinates and addresses cross-program needs, including but not limited to academic advising, veteran student services, institutional research, faculty, and university growth and development. The OAA is also home to the university Provost and Dean.
