Mission Statement
The mission of the Center for Educational Excellence at Palo Alto University is to advance the principles of inclusive and innovative academic excellence in education by supporting educators and future educators in the PAU community. We are committed to:
- Providing inclusive and transformative educational development, resources, and mentoring to educators and future educators, helping them develop culturally competent, inclusive teaching practices to cultivate visionary, responsive, and culturally affirming educators
- Fostering the creation of inclusive learning environments that celebrate diversity, respect all perspectives, and cultivate a sense of belonging among students, faculty, and staff.
- Sharing innovative teaching and learning methods, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and evidence-based practices to enhance educational experiences and outcomes.
- Providing ongoing educational development opportunities, workshops, and resources to ensure that new faculty members have the support they need to excel in their roles, pursue their career aspirations, and contribute to the growth of Palo Alto University.

- Faculty Retreats offer valuable opportunities for professional development, collaboration, and strategic planning. These retreats help build a sense of community, allowing faculty to share ideas and work towards common goals.
