The Academic Technology department at PAU provides services and technology related to teaching, learning, and research in collaboration with the PAU Library and the PAU Department of Information Technology.

Glenn Saito (canvashelp@paloaltou.edu) administers our Canvas LMS and provides assistance with designing courses and integrating special features of the LMS into your courses. He can also assist with video and other technologies for teaching and learning.

Scott Hines (canvashelp@paloaltou.edu, phone 650-433-3855), Director of Academic Technology, can assist with developing new technologies and leveraging existing technologies for use in your teaching, learning, and research at PAU.

Video Technology

The PAU Academic Technology department provides assistance with video technology, including the creation of original content and the integration of content into your teaching, learning, and research.

Classroom Technology and Lecture Recording

In collaboration with the PAU Department of Information Technology, the PAU department of Academic Technology provides recording of lectures and other events in classrooms through Zoom hyflex classroom technology as well as assistance and training in using technology in the classroom.  Contact Scott Hines (shines@paloaltou.edu, phone 650-433-3855) for assistance and training in using classroom technology including use of and connection to Zoom classroom features.
