Library collections at PAU focus on psychology, counseling, social work, and related behavioral health disciplines and include print books, electronic books and reference materials, DVD and streaming videos, digital academic journals, and more!
Collection Development and Access
The PAU Library is committed to developing online collections that provide immediate digital access to relevant content for our students, faculty, and staff, regardless of their locations and time zones. In accordance with its collection development policies, the PAU Library does not accept donations of new or used materials.
Book & eBook Collections
When available, books are purchased in electronic format for full-text access online. Otherwise, print books are selected for purchase and may be checked out at the main campus. DVD and Streaming Video Collections
A limited number of DVD videos are available for checkout in the library. The library also subscribes to a variety of steaming video collections for online viewing, which cover a wide range of topics across multiple disciplines and provide support for clinical and therapeutic training in psychology and counseling. Digital Academic Journal Collections
Articles from academic journals are available in full text online through the library's databases, along with other types of electronic content including conference papers, newspaper articles, eBook chapters, book reviews, and abstracts of every sort. The library subscribes to several online databases that provide key reference information in the fields of psychology, counseling, and related disciplines covering a wide range of relevant topics as well as diagnostic and clinical information. To find out more about our online reference databases:

Databases Collection
All of the materials the library offers are searchable via one or more databases. To support these operations, the library subscribes to a collection of over 60 databases. To find out more about each of these databases and what they have to offer:
