Interlibrary Loan
Information for PAU Users
Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a free resource-sharing service offered by the PAU Library that allows current students, faculty, and staff to request electronic copies of journal articles and book chapters for educational purposes using Tipasa, PAU's ILL system.
You may submit Tipasa requests via the PAU databases or by using the ILL portal in your library account.
The PAU Library does not provide physical items through ILL but does supply electronic copies of documents to the extent possible, as allowed by copyright law (i.e., a single article from a journal or a single chapter from a book), licensing restrictions (if applicable), and availability from our lending partners.
Items that do not meet these standards can still be requested using Tipasa, and each of these requests will be evaluated to determine if an alternative form of access can be provided by the library. When in doubt, please submit your request, and we will do our best to get you what you need!
The PAU Library is unable to offer ILL services to alumni. For complete information regarding library policies for alumni, please refer to our Alumni Resources page.

Tipasa is also used to provide reciprocal resource sharing services to other institutions, subject to specific terms and conditions. Use the link below for complete information about these services.
