On Campus Employment
Limited on-campus employment opportunities can be found on the PAU Student Job Board. If you are an F-1 student and have been hired in an on campus job, you will need to present your passport and I-20 form to Human Resources so an I-9 form may be completed before you begin working.
F-1 students may work up to 20 hours/week maximum while school is in session, 40 hours/week during school breaks.
Maintaining F-1 Status
Keep your passport valid for at least six months into the future at all times.
• Maintain a valid I-20: have your I-20 updated by Student Affairs if you have changes such as your major, change of name, and/or completion of degree date.
• Enroll in a full PAU course load every quarter. Full time for undergraduates is 12 units per quarter. Full time for graduates is a minimum 9 units per quarter, except during practicum and internship.

Student Testimonials
SUNITI KUKREJA, Ph.D.Former Student from Thailand
I came to PAU from Thailand in search of a doctoral program that could provide me with the relevant skills and training to be a successful clinical psychologist. International students have the additional stress of adjusting to a new country along with the rigors of a Ph.D. program. My fellow classmates and PAU faculty/staff have been wonderful and extremely supportive in helping me adjust to life in the US. My experiences with the program have fulfilled all my expectations.
