Helpdesk Services
General Help
People consult the IT Help Desk in many ways: telephone, electronically, or by visiting our office at the main campus in the Facilities Office outside the library. We have the collective expertise to help you with your computing needs. We can also re-route issues to other service areas when necessary. Our goal is to be welcoming and quick in our initial response, thoughtful in the problem solving process, and reliable in our follow-up.
Student Veteran Organization
The purpose of SVO is to provide PAU's military veteran students with the resources, support, and advocacy needed to succeed in higher education and following graduation; to provide veteran and non-veteran students with information on veterans' issues, including behavioral health related research and military/veteran cultural concerns; and to link veteran and non-veteran students with the local veteran community through events and volunteering opportunities.
Palo Alto University is committed to providing seamless transitions for students who are recalled for military service and their return to the university after deployment. We will ensure students do not face an academic disadvantage as a result of being called to national or international service. When a student (or family member) receives recall orders to active duty or orders to deploy, the student can withdraw from the university with a 100% refund and without financial penalty.
Yellow Ribbon Program
Palo Alto University is proud to announce its continued support of the military student population through its participation in the Yellow Ribbon Program, a provision of the Post 9/11 GI Bill. This participation covers tuition and fee charges in excess of the annual cap/maximum amount paid by the VA, established for the Post 9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33). Each year, when/if the VA pays out the annual cap amount, this agreement states that PAU will financially provide 50% of remaining tuition and fees, and the VA will provide the other 50%.
