APA Style
APA (American Psychological Association) style is required for written work at PAU and serves as the standard for scholarly communication in psychology and the behavioral sciences. The current (7th) edition of the APA manual, which is available in print for checkout from the PAU Library, provides specific information and examples for formating a research paper and all of its components, including in-text citations, tables, graphs, and references.
Please note that the APA 7 manual is not available to libraries in electronic format; however, the digital edition is available to individuals and may be rented or purchased.

Grammarly Premium
Create a free Grammarly Premium account, courtesy of PAU, to check your spelling, grammar, and writing style and to check documents for plagiarism. Make sure to select "Sign up with Google" on the sign up page. Then, use "Sign in with Google" on the Login/Sign-in page and use your PAU Gmail account to proceed.

Zotero
Zotero is a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, annotate, cite, and share research. PAU recommends using this tool for your citations and provides support for its use.

Turnitin Draft Coach
PAU subscribes to Turnitin, a computer-based service, to check for originality in submitted papers and assess for plagiarism. Any paper submitted by a student in any program at PAU may be checked for originality to confirm that the student has not plagiarized from other sources. For more information, please refer to your student handbook.
Students have the option of using Turnitin Draft Coach in Google Docs to assist them with checking their papers before submission.
