Social justice-based interventions are best poised to make the biggest impact on this population. As counselors, we are uniquely positioned to advocate for the most vulnerable populations. As agents of change, we have to be culturally affirming. We need to advocate for our clients and involve counselors in social change at the local, state, and national levels.
