This intermediate-level program discusses the role of the 338-item version of the MMPI-2, the MMPI-2 Restructured Form (MMPI-2-RF) to psychologists who conduct pre-employment evaluations of public safety personnel. This program assumes background and basic interpretation knowledge of the MMPI-2-RF. The majority of the time is devoted to considerations for using the MMPI-2-RF in public safety pre-employment evaluations, and scientific support for using the test in such evaluations is discussed. Multiple case illustrations for which MMPI-2-RF data was used in public safety pre-employment evaluations are included.
