Jerrod Brown, PhD, presents a live professional training program on Behavioral Health Aspects of Insomnia.
Insomnia impacts millions of individuals every year. Even higher rates of insomnia impact clients receiving services from behavioral health providers. Designed for professionals, this training introduces participants to the causes, consequences, and red flag indicators of insomnia among behavioral health populations.
Screening and intervention considerations will also be discussed through a behavioral health lens. The impact insomnia has on mood, behavior, cognition, physical health, and criminality will also be discussed. Empirically based research findings will be highlighted throughout this training.
