The live professional training program on Conquering IPV Disparities for the LGBTGEQIAP+ Community is presented by Christine Jenkins.

Research shows that the LGBTGEQIAP+ community experiences disparities in some key areas as it related to interpersonal violence. Social justice-based interventions are best poised to make the biggest impact for this population. As counselors, we are uniquely positioned to advocate for the most vulnerable populations. As agents of change, we have to be culturally affirming. We need to not only advocate for our own clients, but involve counselors in social change at the local, state, and national levels.

This live program is intended for mental health and other allied professionals.
