Nic Schmoyer-Edmiston (he/him) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He received his Ph.D. in Education - Counseling from Old Dominion University and his M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Nic is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania and has provided counseling and behavioral health services in community behavioral health, general hospital, and primary care settings. His clinical and scholarly interests lie within Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH), the Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) model, behavioral medicine (BMed), single-session therapy/intervention (SST/I), and medical trauma.
