Our Mission
We maintain the data infrastructure that supports institutional effectiveness, strategic planning, and evidence-based decision making at PAU. The Office of Institutional Research and Digital Transformation provides accurate, accessible data to internal and external stakeholders, supports compliance with accreditation and federal reporting requirements, and coordinates the university's technology strategy.

For Researchers and Higher Education Professionals
- We provide institutional data for research purposes and respond to external data requests in accordance with university policy. Contact us at institutional-research@paloaltou.edu to request data not available through our public resources.
For the PAU Community
- Internal stakeholders can access additional services including institutional research and data analysis, enrollment and revenue operations support, and digital transformation consulting. Accreditation and Compliance
The Office of Institutional Research and Digital Transformation works in partnership with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness to support:
- WSCUC accreditation reporting and data requirements
- Federal reporting including IPEDS and student outcomes data
- State authorization data reporting
- APA accreditation for clinical psychology programs
- Program review data and analysis

Our Team
Jeff Harr
Senior Director of Institutional Research and Digital Transformation
Jeff leads PAU's institutional research function and digital systems strategy, reporting to the President. He is responsible for data governance, institutional reporting, technology roadmap development, and integration of the university's enrollment and business systems. Jeff holds an MBA in Sustainable Development and Planning from The Ohio State University and a certificate in Organizational Design from Cornell University.
Christopher Olbrych
Institutional Research Administrator
Christopher manages PAU's institutional data systems and leads federal and state compliance reporting including IPEDS and WSCUC requirements. He develops data dashboards and analytical tools that support university planning and decision-making. Before joining PAU, Christopher worked as an economist with the IRS, specializing in data science and research initiatives. He holds a Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Florida Atlantic University and brings expertise in SQL, database management, and statistical analysis to the institutional research function.
