Promoting Equity & Advocating for Community Empowerment (PEACE)

Mission Statement

The mission of PEACE is to promote and protect human rights through service, education, outreach, advocacy, and community building. PEACE aims to provide the Palo Alto University (PAU) community with opportunities to support efforts to improve community wellbeing beyond traditional clinical and research practice.

Who Can Join?

All registered PAU students, regardless of program, level, location, or modality of study, are welcome to participate in PEACE meetings, events, and initiatives. The group is committed to non-discrimination and inclusivity across all identities and lived experiences.

Activities & Focus Areas

PEACE organizes quarterly events that include:

Education & Outreach – Raising awareness about human rights issues
Advocacy & Service – Supporting community-based initiatives
Community Building – Hosting inclusive and empowering social events
