Vanessa Carlisle, PhD (they/them) is an author, coach, and educator dedicated to liberatory practice through the intersections of sexuality, safety building, and death care. As a sexuality educator and a longtime sex worker, Vanessa draws on both evidence-based practices and community wisdoms in their work. Vanessa co-authored Awaken Your Sexuality: A Guide to Connection and Intimacy After Addiction and Trauma (and workbook!) with Dr. Stephanie Covington, and is the author of the award-winning novel Take Me With You (Running Wild Press).
